Our last day... It was not easy leaving New York City, but fortunately, I am leaving with amazing knowledge, experiences, and friendships.
Our last day was spent visiting the United Nations. We were able to see what the focus of communications is for the U.N. Their job is to educate the world on their 17 sustainable development goals. It was interesting hearing the passion and motivation the U.N. has to reach these goals by 2030. After meeting with the Communications Officer, we were able to take a tour of the building. Technically we were in NYC but, while in the building, we were on foreign territory. So, we were out of the country for a few hours!
After our last visit, we had a few hours of free time before our flight. A few of us girls hurried to The Met and Central Park. I could have spend hours in Central Park. It was so magical! I can't wait to come back with Dallin and get to spend more time seeing sights.
The past 5 days have been an absolute dream. I have been able to learn so much, make amazing connections with current PR professionals and my classmates, and I got to see the most incredible view's I have ever seen.
I will cherish these memories for the rest of my life.
